The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence has only just begun
The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence has only just begun after NASA scientists discovered radio signal frequency. The Paranormal belief may end up and would become a theoretical science as the first radio signal was discovered and would strengthen the belief of alien existence on extraterrestrial civilization.
Over 700 exoplanets existed on other stars were discovered after the discovery of the first alien planet in 1996.
The Nasa’s Kepler Space Telescope has discovered 2, 326 exoplanets that are candidate to be legitimate planets since its first launch in March 2009. Follow up observation is required to confirm its authenticity.
The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence had already analyzing its first radio signal discovered from a Kepler telescope. This would anticipate scientists to have possible messages from extraterrestrial beings.
Scientists also considering the factors of wide range radio wave frequencies released by astrophysical phenomena like black holes and exploding stars to be the suspect of the signals discovered.
The signal discovered may be also caused by the Doppler Effect in which our planet has an activity of broadcasting signals throughout.
A research wrote in response to the issue that, “Our analyses have generated a few ‘hits,’ but all are undoubtedly examples of terrestrial radio frequency interference”. University of California hosted the search together with SETI Institute in Mountain View, California and National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Va.
The researchers doubted that the radio signals recovered were similar to local frequencies patterns from two different alien planets, the Kepler Object of Interest-817 and 812.
According to researchers that, “If we see a signal coming from multiple positions on the sky, like the ones below, it is very likely to be interference,”
The two alien planets which are KOI-817 and KOI-812 are possible to be responsible of the signals discovered.
Scientist admitted that they don’t have signals or messages yet from extraterrestrial to prove alien civilization exist and hoping to have one soon.
“Even though these signals are interference, detecting events with similar characteristics to what we expect from ET is a good indication that the first steps of our detection algorithms are working properly,” according to some scientists.
